Minyip Caravan Park

Caravans & Camping

The caravan park is located off Petering St Minyip, and incorporates the Minyip wetlands.

The caravan park has 12 powered sites, an amenities block, BBQ shelter, fire pit, playground, walking /exercise track through the wetlands (see middle pic above). The wetlands is one of two sites in Australia with the endangered Rice Flower Plant.

Areas are available for unpowered camping.

Caravan park and camp sites operate on an honesty system and no booking is required.

Fees:

Caravans: $15 per night
Camping: $10 per night
Showers: $2 each

Payment to be made on arrival, in envelopes provided at amenities block, and placed in wall slot.

Minyip Caravan Park

Cabins

The park has recently constructed 2 by 2 bedroom cabins. Cabin 1 sleeps 6, Cabin 2 is an accessible cabin and sleeps 4.

Booking is required. A reduced fee is available for multiple nights.

Bookings will be available from August 2024.

Fees:

$170 per night.

Minip Hotels + Dining

Hotels:

Neither  the Commercial or Majestic Hotel is currently open. It is anticipated that the Commercial hotel will be reopening in August 2024.

Dining:

Coopers Crossing Café (pictured right above) is open for meals, snacks and coffee.

Packaged  frozen meals are available from the café.

Hours:

Tuesday to Thursday: 8am to 3pm
Fridays: 8am to 8pm
Saturdays: 9am to 1pm
